1) WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Google analytics and other providers of third party cookies
It is important to stress that, aside from remembering your settings on our website, Addax uses the
gathered data exclusively for web statistics and marketing in Google Analytics (provided by Google Inc.,
1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (”Google”)), which means that the data is
only used in an aggregated manner and strictly for internal purposes.
Google uses the information to evaluate visitors’ use of the website, compiling reports on website usage and services related to website activity and internet usage. Furthermore, Google may customize the
advertising you see on the basis of information on your previous browsing. The information stored in the
cookies used by Google (such as IP addresses) are forwarded to and stored on Google servers located all
around the world. Hence, the information can be stored on a server located in a country other than where
you live. Google may also transfer the information to third parties, where required by law or when such

If you are logged into your account on Addax’s website the information generated by the use of cookies
will be connected to your personal data, resulting in the otherwise non-personal data generated through
the use of cookies, becoming personal data. Our legal basis for use of such personal data is our legitimate
interest to market our products and services to you and to analyze your behavior on our website for the
purpose of improving the features and content of our website. Please note that you can limit the
information generated through the use of cookies by changing your browser settings etc., see Sections 5 to
8 below.
5) YOUR CONSENT
